Sitting at the top of an atrium filling, focal staircase, Reflection Pool is the feature piece for this state of the art office tower. Like all reflecting pools, this hand painted, epoxy artwork is layered with color, pattern, plant life and small moments of fantasy.
Elevation and Section
From a production standpoint, this project was all about studies, vignettes and effective planning. Aside from the composition of theater gels that create the bulk of the colored layers and the lighting location, the artwork was entirely improvised. Foraged sticks and stones, hand crafted miniatures and a lot of staging created a uniquely immersive piece of wall hung artwork.
